Dev Gowda is the Toxics Advocate with NMPIRG, coordinating the field program to safeguard chemical facilities to prevent chemical accidents. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and the University of Minnesota Law School. Previously, he has done advocacy on international human rights and corporate accountability issues, particularly concerning the Alien Tort Statute and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in Minnesota.
